Set against a backdrop where the natural slope shapes the architectural experience, this residence rises distinctively, embracing the terrain and creating a harmonious integration with the surroundings. Designed for a couple and their two teenage children, the house unfolds in volumes that merge functionality with visual delight.

The project originates from the union of two main blocks: the social and the private. These volumes are connected by a glass walkway, almost floating, framing the central leisure area. Here, a majestic Jacarandá tree becomes the focal point, offering shade and a refreshing presence on sunny afternoons. The composition of the wooden deck and the pool enhances a welcoming ambiance, while the water mirror along the left boundary amplifies the feeling of lightness, reflecting the nuances of natural light.

At dawn, sunlight subtly fills the three suites, especially the master suite, which extends to a private garden half a level below—a space thoughtfully crafted for the wife’s passion for plants. Privacy and tranquility are accentuated by discreet window designs, maintaining comfort without sacrificing brightness.

The heart of the social area is the living room, featuring a concrete fireplace. This sculptural element stands out, merging design and function, and creates a cozy atmosphere, especially during colder days, in contrast with the large openings that invite nature inside.

The service areas, strategically positioned half a level below the social elevation, are nestled in a semi-underground configuration, ensuring discretion without compromising functionality. The laundry area opens onto an uncovered patio, with plans to one day host a small tree. Skylights in the ceiling illuminate and ventilate the service bedroom and bathroom. Atop this volume, a water mirror makes the glass walkway appear suspended.

The structure plays with balance and lightness: the monolithic block is supported by robust lateral walls and solid concrete slabs, achieving a striking architectural impact without intermediate supports. Materials like glass and wood accentuate the duality between the rawness of concrete and the airiness of open spaces, while textures and finishes celebrate the meeting of rustic and natural elements.

Lastly, the parking area, at elevation 100.30, is sheltered beneath the cantilevered upper block, elegantly accommodating two of the four vehicles. This residence invites harmonious living, celebrating forms that embrace nature and highlight contemporary design.
