We were invited by the BoaVista Palhano condominium to design a small children’s playground adjacent to its social club. The space occupies a garden at the entrance of the ensemble, shaped by the gentle curve of the road and the site’s topography. The shape of the site, which resembles a boat sail, inspired the project's layout and its playful character. In Itacaré, southern Bahia, where the Atlantic Forest meets the ocean in a landscape of nearly absolute intensity, Terramar House is sited with precision. Located in the Vila São José complex, the residence occupies a narrow and challenging hillside site, with a 14-meter elevation change and depth varying between 12 and 20 meters. Only about 40% of the lot was effectively buildable due to condominium restrictions and the trapezoidal geometry itself, marked by two 50-meter fronts: an upper one for main access and a lower one facing the street leading to the beach. In the heart of the sunny Brazilian cerrado, in the Cruzeiro do Sul condominium in Goiânia, Casa Dione camouflages itself within the landscape. The couple, with three children, desired a house that could fully open to the backyard, allowing the children to run freely — and that, when necessary, could be easily closed.  In the district of Guajuvira, 35 km away from the city of Curitiba, Brazil, the countryside landscape sustained by small agribusiness families is constantly interspersed with remnants of native Atlantic Forest vegetation. Often protecting water sources and small streams that flow into the Iguaçu river basin, these forest clusters are home to protected species, such as the Araucaria - the tree that gives the town its name. The project for MSA House, located in the Terras de São José II condominium in the countryside of São Paulo, aimed to meet the clients' request, a couple with one child: a permeable, integrated, functional residence that takes advantage of the terrain, a slight slope, to enjoy the view of the valley. When we visited the project site with the client, we noticed some particular features that we could say became guiding elements of what the project would become. Upon arrival, we sensed a bucolic atmosphere and a sense of peace. The site, located in a gated community in the city of Campinas, faced a farm. With a wide view, we could observe the Maria Fumaça (Local old turistic steam train) passing by, and at that moment, the direction of the house’s views was already being revealed or suggested. The Quintal 1013 project emerged from the client's request to expand the barbecue area in the backyard of a typical 1970s/80s house: small stone tile flooring, a garden bench, a typical exposed brick barbecue, and a space surrounded by pots and plants. A space rich in history and affection was to be expanded while maintaining its original characteristics but also allowing for new gatherings and interactions. Located at the Jurumirim dam, in Avaré, the weekend house was designed with the aim of offering the family an ideal refuge amid the tranquility of nature. The relationship with the dam was a determining factor in the project concept, ensuring that the landscape was always present, visible from any point of the residence. Set against a backdrop where the natural slope shapes the architectural experience, this residence rises distinctively, embracing the terrain and creating a harmonious integration with the surroundings.
