Nestled in the desert among the majestic pyramids of Giza stands Khufu's, the restaurant designed by the Egyptian architect Hisham Ghorab from the studio Style Design which admires one of the most extraordinary structures ever built in the history of mankind. The contemporary architecture, made of sandstone, blends perfectly into this evocative setting to the extent that it almost seems to emerge from the surrounding sand.

A neutral colour palette characterises and defines the spaces that frame the structure. In this way, the attention is focused on one of history's most precious treasures, the majestic pyramids of Giza, which can be admired from a unique and extraordinarily close-up perspective while enjoying a traditional local dish. In fact, the menu, exclusively Egyptian, bears the signature of chef Mostafa Seif and offers a unique culinary experience to discover this land, following the evolution of flavours from ancient civilisation to the present day.

Pedrali products find their place in this spectacular project, enriching the narrative with a refined Made in Italy touch. The Italian brand's collections have been selected to furnish both the outdoor and indoor areas of the restaurant, creating a suggestive encounter between history and contemporaneity. Comfort and elegance blend here with historic views, fine cuisine and culture, leading guests on a sensory journey into one of the ancient wonders proclaimed World Heritage Site in 1979. The Panarea collection, designed by CMP Design, embellishes the charming dehor. The idea behind Panarea is rooted in the Mediterranean coastline, and in the colours and refreshing breeze of an outdoor dinner on a sea-facing terrace, on a pleasant summer day. Light, sunny and elegant, these armchairs and lounge armchairs feature a traditional element hand-woven in Italy granting an elegant appearance, as well as a three dimensional, graphic rigour.

On the seat rests a comfortable cushion padded in dry-feel polyurethane foam that dries quickly and is covered in fabric made from the same thread as that used for the woven element. The Ypsilon tables, designed by Jorge Pensi, also find their place in this unique location. Arki-Table, a structurally linear and rigorous table, but at the same time versatile and designed for different uses, completes the set-up of the terrace with a breathtaking view. It is characterised by an ultra-thin top of big dimensions with cable management supported by a hidden extruded aluminium frame.

The proportions of this table assure visual harmony, as well as clean lines. Inside, in a perfect setting characterised by delicate nuances and natural finishes, the Nemea chairs designed by CMP Design find space. Nemea is a collection of seatings the shape of which recalls the idea of a classic gracefulness molded by time and history. Made of ash veneered plywood, it features a die-cast aluminium frame. Malmö armchairs by CMP Design also furnish the dining room. The collection is designed to fit in convivial spaces and evokes warmth sensations thanks to the touch of ash wood, the tapered look and the appeal of tradition. It consists of a plywood shell in ash wood that appears suspended, nearly floating, on a solid wood frame. The design elements appear in their purity, thicker in the joints and tapered in a natural way to offer lightness and elegance. The wooden version of the Malmö stools fits into this space, decorating the bar area.
