Kinesis Clinic, located in Emirates Hills, Dubai, embodies a minimalist design philosophy, prioritising simplicity and functionality. Designed by Dubai-based interior design firm Designsmith, the wellness space's interior avoids unnecessary colours and clutter, creating an environment of comfort.
The clinic's layout is marked by organised storage areas with clean lines and an open atmosphere. Strategic placement of reception, waiting areas, and physio rooms in naturally-lit zones ensures a balanced layout, with private spaces like treatment and consultation rooms discreetly tucked away. A central corridor facilitates smooth circulation, providing clarity for visitors and operational control for staff.
Deliberate considerations in colour, lighting, and design contribute to a relaxed and functional space. Neutral colours and soft lighting create an illusion of spaciousness, fostering a positive atmosphere. The incorporation of biophilic design blurs indoor-outdoor boundaries, seamlessly integrating natural elements to uplift the ambiance.
The use of natural materials, such as stone-textured GRG and sandstone tiling, adds a rustic yet elegant touch to the clinic's aesthetic. From the reception area with stone-textured elements to the gym's wooden slats and 3D wall graphics, each element contributes to a cohesive design. The gym's stretch ceiling and vertical wall lighting add character, establishing a unique atmosphere.
