PUNTO DE PANES - LA MIGUERÍA

Plasma as Designers

La Miguería is a family-owned bakery and pastry shop that opened its doors in 2011 in the city of Medellín, with multiple points of sale throughout the city. In the location situated in the Los Molinos Shopping Center, it was decided to expand the existing space by creating a satellite bread point.

The main goal was to make use of the available space under the escalators of the shopping center to establish La Miguería's Bread Point. In addition to serving as a dispatch center, the aim was to create a welcoming environment for customers who purchase and consume the products on-site.

Following these guidelines, an enveloping structural element was designed to delineate the space under the stairs, incorporating lighting. Service furniture was installed for product delivery and display, along with an organized seating area featuring a large bench and fixed tables for enjoying food on-site.

Thanks to custom-designed furniture tailored to fit the special geometric conditions of the space, a new service center for La Miguería was successfully integrated, operating independently and providing users with a new space to relax and enjoy the products.
