In the valleys of West VA, the rolling hills and mountains echo a great aesthetic spirit. The Brunell home faces southward for passive solar access with a view of twin mountains.  The double tower of copper is the first thing you see when you arrive.  Even the entry is tucked away intentionally.

Then the surprise. One walks out onto the dead-end deck to see only the mountains. Vertically, the house stays split with glass bridges above.  Cars on the ground, 2nd floor for sleeping, and the 3rd floor for living, dining, and cooking with a glass connecting bridge.  Finally, at the top, a true sun shine and sun shade deck for gardens.  In the mountains, ground gardens are eaten by the deer and others all year.  Thus, from the top down comes food, dining, sleeping, and then the car with storage.  Shade fins cool the south side in summer while passive south light warms all winter. The Twin Mountain  Home Towers is heaven.
