Legalsa is a prestigious Guatemala City-based law firm, whose areas of work, services and experience are as diverse as the talented team that makes it up. The main objective for the design of this corporate space is to translate the team’s personality and values into a spatial and material language that responds to the needs of their clients.
The layout is carefully designed to maximize natural light from three existing glass facades. As the day goes on, the entry of natural light varies the wood tones, an element that conceptually links all spaces, from offices to meeting rooms and corridors. The main corridors and circulations facilitate connections between private and common work areas, leaving space for collaboration and experimentation in different work atmospheres.
The palette of materials is selected to reflect the solidity and experience of a 20-year-old law firm that fosters innovative solutions with a team of high-quality professionals. The selection of wood tones, white marble and tempered glass creates a perfect balance between avant-garde and traditional styles. Rounded corners in corridors smooth circulation and visual perception.
The use of additional elements such as art and plants is essential for spatial balance. Art has the potential to maximize space, provide visual dynamism and improve productivity. Indoor plants, on the other hand, contribute to mental well-being and the reduction of stress.
