A prime site adjacent to the Khimke Reservoir and Leningradskoye Shosse is envisioned as a vibrant residential development. The design concept responds to considerations such as views, orientation, solar isolation, circulation and sense of community. The site configuration maximizes views of the city and reservoir, featuring an active embankment and an internal, arced promenade.
High rise apartments feature offset plans set along the waterfront, while eight story residential blocks follow the internal boulevard's arced geometry. This route links the northwest embankment corner to new riverfront development south of the site. Highlighting the boulevard's intersection with the riverfront walkway is a dynamic, elliptical social center. A school and two kindergartens are positioned in a transitional zone between the residential areas and public roadways.
