Lilac Chocolate and Dates shop and cafe, the project was to design a multi-functional space, as it operates as a retail shop that exhibits the products of that specific brand and provides a cafe seating area.
Lilac Shop and café is located on the ground floor, of a commercial building within a very active and dynamic location.
This heterogeneity of the program invites an aesthetic of neutrality, the space was designed as a free plan, with floating islands, challenging the traditional experience of frontality when viewing such products.
The general material and color selection of the main space of the shop is rendered with a monotonous color scheme while the vibrant colors were assigned to the islands inhabiting the middle of the shop.
A special eye was kept on the lighting design which enhances the space experience. The lights form and curvature follows and compliments that organic nature of the display islands.
