Shaped by site forces, the design conceptually explores void spaces inserted in-between a series of liminal walls. The walls act as portals to the landscape while cradling distinct structures that allow the house to be divided into the most public, most private and indoor/outdoor spatial experiences that can become either or both.

While the walls are thought of as being of the earth and are articulated as heavy, static pieces, the glazed public and private volumes act as lenses to the landscape. The central pavilion is conceived as the core of the concept and acts as a spatially dynamic volume uniting the ground level elements of the house and a thin, glazed volume balanced above that rotates to provide 360 degree views.Shaped by site forces, the design conceptually explores void spaces inserted in-between a series of liminal walls.
