The project locates in the Partido de la Costa, province of Buenos Aires, in the Equestrian neighborhood of Costa Esmeralda, a private urban development settled between route 11 and the Argentinian sea coast. Equestrian is a neighborhood with young vegetation but many attractions like two Polo fields, a horse stable, and an artificial lagoon.
The house settles on a lot at street level, with the back facing east and the lagoon. It defines a two-story volume facing the rear, while towards the front, the garage and the service area on a single floor generate an entrance patio with a pine tree that filters the views and the west. The construction reduces its scale towards the street, becoming more friendly and contained.
On the back facade, the modulated volume of two floors contains four bedrooms with their terrace on the upper level and the dining room downstairs with its gallery towards the sunrise views over the lagoon.
The services locate in the south of the ground floor, and the master bedroom is in the north, allowing this floor to function independently from the upper one. The large living-dining room opens onto the gallery through large windows. The grill hides on the south side close to the kitchen.
The project builds with a concrete structure combined with his-res metal pillars on the galleries to generate visual continuity. The exterior walls and interior divisions are in brick masonry, the roof is sheet metal with a metal structure, and the front door and stairwells are of hard timber.
