The house is located into the mountainside, conceived as a sequence of roofs that interlock around the fireplace.  

The sculptural quality is emphasised by the use of smooth white stucco for the generous eaves contrasting the masonry walls of the chimney.

Varied materials on the exterior add visual enchantment to the house's straightfoward shape

Porches extend inside the house, vanishing the límits between internal and external space.
