The MA23 project which is an ambitious operation for the refurbishment of an existing office building, and enhancement of built heritage in the heart of the financial centre in the city of Madrid.
The uniqueness of the performance lies not only in its “premium” location, but also in the ambitious operation entailed in “bringing” a building from the 20th century into the 21st century, capable of meeting the most demanding efficiency, sustainability and functionality parameters required.
It is important to highlight the new innovative façade, consisting in the replacement of the conventional all glass curtain wall, for a mixed aluminium-wooden solution, with exterior wooden slat lattices, and which has an impact on the decarbonisation strategy required for the works.
