The city of Neuilly sur Marnes, at the exit of the Bois de Vincennes, has a large park belonging to an abandoned psychiatric hospital. The ‘Parc de Maison Blanche’ is an emblematic place that stretches over 58 hectares, just 15 km from Paris. It reveals a unique vegetal and architectural richness.
Its conversion follows the arrival near the Grand Paris metro line.
The Parc of 'Maison Blanche' will accommodate a variety of housing units, promoting a mixed population. Most of the modes of access to housing will be combined: free rental, social, free home ownership, social home ownership, participatory housing, new housing, rehabilitation. This diversity will be reinforced by the design of spaces adapted to the residential path of each individual: individual, grouped, intermediate and collective housing. The White House program provides for four phases of work for the delivery of around 4,000 housing units in total.
