SP Estúdio as Architects

The project located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, has 260m² and was developed for a young couple. Because it is a house where they intend to live for a long period, they were looking for a timeless style, but one that had personality. To meet these requests, architects Fabiana Silveira and Patrícia de Palma opted to use materials that would talk to each other on all floors.

The house is well segmented vertically. On the ground floor we have the access area, with service spaces. On the first floor is the social area with living rooms and kitchen. On the third is the intimate wing, with the couple's suite and bathroom, and on the top floor is the penthouse, which houses the leisure area, which was a priority in the development of the project, since the couple is very fond of receiving friends and family on weekends, for get-togethers.

A new layout for the project was elaborated, the covered barbecue area was created on the leisure floor, integrated the two bathrooms on the intimate floor to create the master suite bathroom and reconfigured the other two bedrooms, in addition to making changes to the property's coverings. All electrical and hydraulic points were exchanged, to adapt the new configuration, only the divisions of the wings on the floors were maintained and the configuration of the external walls, as it was in a condominium.

The architects had the mission to make all the rooms in the house, even separated by floors, talk. They kept the natural wood floor that was delivered to the floors and used a few extra coatings to bring the personality they wanted. It is a project with a touch of color in strategic locations, which harmonize and reflect the clients' lifestyle.

The proposal was to work with durable materials and easy maintenance was essential for the job. The biggest highlight is the natural stone Moledo de Santa Isabel, chosen to bring that natural touch to the leisure floor, being laid one by one on the spot.
