Masdar City is an emerging global clean-technology cluster located in what aims to be one of the world’s most sustainable urban development’s powered by renewable energy.

This US$22 billion free zone located about 17km from downtown Abu Dhabi. Construction of Masdar City started in 2008 and strict regulations and eco-balances for the use of energy and resources are applied to all construction projects. Accordingly, all GROHE articles were thoroughly reviewed with regard to production and economical consumption before being approved for use in the Masdar project. GROHE is involved as an official partner in key projects.
