Medline Europe is an international leader in the healthcare sector, specialising in the manufacture and distribution of medical devices for care institutions. When the time came to establish a new European workplace standard, the ambition went far beyond finding a new office. Working alongside Parella Netherlands, we helped Medline define a scalable model that could be deployed consistently across multiple locations, while remaining relevant to each local market.
The result: a shared workplace vision aligned with business and HR priorities, a structured design concept true to the brand identity, and a design book to guide future rollouts across Europe.
The first real world application of this model is Medline's new 2,800 m² workspace at The Cath, a renovated building in Utrecht, with further deployments already underway in Madrid and Paris. The space was designed to support organisational growth and evolving hybrid work patterns, with open, flexible and multifunctional areas. The design plays careful attention to acoustics, and has a layout that balances collaboration and focused work. This project is one that proves international consistency and local performance are not opposites.
