Architect signs a 40m2 studio with a poetic look and an elegant atmosphere for moments of rest

An environment full of affection, organic forms, natural elements and a lot of green marks the presence of the architect Beatriz Quinelato in the 35th edition of CASACOR São Paulo, which takes place from July 5th to September 11th, at Conjunto Nacional, one of the most important architectural landmarks of the city, located on Avenida Paulista.

Following the theme 'Infinito Particular', the professional presents the project ‘Mirror of Soul', a 40m2 studio with the proposal of being a space to disconnect from the world and connect with oneself, as a true window of the soul, for the moments of rest and relaxation, in a light and emotional way. Shades of brown and marsala in contrast with shades of beige and green awaken the senses of welcome and well-being, in a refined and elegant atmosphere.

To bring a more poetic look, the architect developed two large wooden porches, the main constructive element of the project, made in partnership with Criare, which are inspired by the rectangular shape of each window on the facade of the residential building of Conjunto Nacional. The brand also executed another outstanding element, the Muxarabi on the wall, which reinforces the idea of ‘seeing through’. “It was like bringing a soul to one of those many windows and being able to tell your story within the new concept of living”, explains the architect.

In the same material as the porticos, a frame around the entire environment invites the visitor to look up, envisioning a special lighting and one of the highlights of the environment: two pendants with 2 meters in diameter, made of natural fiber, brought from Bali by Biasá. Which, in contrast to the original concrete slab of the Conjunto Nacional, brings the history of the building with its natural wear of so many years.

A large countertop in Marsala lacquer, topped with Napoleon Bordeaux marble by Michelangelo, with a hidden Supra sink by Deca, brings functionality to the space. Just above, a tilting cabinet in marsala, also by Criare, receives plants and objects to complement the space.

Another highlight is the tile bench designed by the architect, and developed in partnership with Colormix, designed to translate the office's DNA and which brings an unfolding of the 'Avesso Perfeito' line launched by Beatriz in the latest edition of CASACOR, revealing the versatility of explored designs. Another item that also bears the architect's signature is the rug, by Santa Monica Tapetes. Created especially for the show, the organic lines and tones present in the project form a beautiful contrast with the space.

The sophistication is on account of the furniture, carefully selected by the architect at the Odara store, with a large bed in organic shape, all covered in sustainable fabric, by Ecosimple, in an off-white tone, topped off by a curved headboard in buds, designed by the architect. An elegant desk, chair, armchair, mirror, side table and benches complement the curation of selected pieces in the store to compose the environment.

Next to the bed, a closet designed by Criare, with opening doors in transparent glass, which reveal the drawers, clothes rack and shelves inside, with a profile illuminated with built-in LED. Bonni's Esfera luminaire, in Jequitibá solid wood, signed by Erik Bonissato, complements the environment with its timeless, minimalist style and full of Brazilianness, printing sensations of comfort and relaxation.

Finally, an exclusive tapestry by Alex Rocca surrounds the pillar through threads and in the tones of the project's palette. The Poá mirror, another piece designed by the architect and which was the great inspiration for the concept of the environment, completes the selection of handcrafted products.
