Owner/family profile
The colorful apartment was designed for a cool couple with a two-year-old daughter.
What are the owner’s requests and expectations for the project and how were they treated?
The couple had a big dilemma: the husband wouldn't give up the barbecue on the balcony, but the wife didn't want to see the barbecue when it wasn't in use. Furthermore, the couple would like environments with cordiality and integration to welcome friends, space to accommodate the husband's guitars in the decoration and a prominent place for the painting of grandfather Orlando Marcucci, a student of Alfredo Volpi, who sat behind the sofa.
What is the inspiration and conception of the project?
A cheerful apartment, full of colors and life.
Is there a starting point that you consider to be the key to the project?
The bright colors in the apartment and the retractable blue panel for the barbecue.
Did you have any difficulties? What were the solutions found?
The barbecue dilemma, the problem was solved through a retractable blue panel for the barbecue, where it could be closed when not in use.
