Modern farmhouse remodel

DeMotte Architects as Architects

The existing house was a 2 story Colonial built in the ‘50’s that was dated inside & out. The interior was completely gutted, then reconfigured & remodeled the interior. On the exterior, the roofing, siding, trim, windows & doors were removed & replaced.

The exterior of the house was redesigned as a modern farmhouse, with simple detailing to complement the simple forms of the house. Materials include fiberglass shingles, standing seam copper roofing, fiber cement siding, ½ round aluminum gutters, carriage style garage doors & Marvin windows.

Material Used :
1. Fiber cement siding - James Hardie - Artisan collection
2. Asphalt shingles - GAF Timberline
3. Marvin windows & doors
4. Standing seam copper roofing
5. White aluminum ½ round gutters & leaders
6. PVC trim - Azek
