The 390 m² sales centre for Monde Condominiums produces a park-like setting indoors, recalling adjacencies to Lake Ontario and Sherbourne Common, a central, neighbourhood green. In doing so, it brings to life East Bayfront’s emerging potential as a thriving waterfront community.
Extended sight lines and highlighted vistas within the presentation gallery are activated by a complex layering of textures. An evocative materiality encompasses stone, concrete, wood and plantings. The ground plane is redefined by a “stream” of crushed glass; the ceiling re-imagined with starry formations of LED pin lights. Benches and cantilevered ledges in privileged corners offer moments of rest and contemplation.
The 67 m² model suite, featuring a Cecconi Simone custom kitchen and custom baths in finishes inspired by nature, showcases a unified living environment, with fluid functional zones linked by an engaging interplay of surface planes.
