With Mondrian as an inspiration for developing all living functions in a limited area.
What were the key challenges?
Integrating all functions in a very limited area was the challenge here.
What were the solutions?
By designing a wall consisting of a geometric play of lines, planes and volumes on a limited area, all the functions of the living space (lounge, kitchen, dining area) can be integrated into one piece of furniture. This gives you the feeling that everything flows into one another, resulting in a greater spaciousness than the number of square meters suggests.
This philosophy is also carried through into the night area; the hallway is also the dressing room, in the bathroom the shower flows into the space and the guest room is also the laundry room and an additional dressing room.
