The NEGRO store emerges as a spatial translation of the brand’s universe: sober, functional, and deeply urban. Conceived as an experiential space rather than a simple display, the project seeks to reflect NEGRO’s design identity through clear, honest, and assertive architecture.
The interior is organized around a modular metal grid that structures the layout and defines the circulation, reinforcing an industrial and contemporary logic. Noble, durable materials—black metal, steel mesh, natural wood, concrete, and textured surfaces—create an austere yet warm atmosphere, where every element serves a precise purpose. The monochromatic palette, dominated by blacks, greys, and neutral tones, allows the products to stand out with strength and clarity.
Lighting plays a central role in shaping the character of the space. Warm linear lighting, backlit signage, and graphic details integrated into the architecture add depth and rhythm, generating contrasts that guide the visitor and highlight key areas of the store. The large illuminated “NEGRO” sign acts as a visual anchor and identity marker, visible from both the interior and exterior.
Custom-designed furniture combines robustness with flexibility. Pedestals, suspended shelving, and mobile display structures allow for a dynamic presentation of backpacks, bags, and accessories, reinforcing the idea of the product as the true protagonist. Each object is displayed with clarity and intention, in line with the brand’s direct and understated language.
The result is a store that embodies NEGRO’s values: functionality, character, and timelessness. A space where architecture does not compete with the product, but rather enhances it—creating a coherent, recognizable, and authentic experience.
