The Northeastern Illinois University Day Care is located at the main university campus in Chicago Illinois. The current site is 43,710 square feet of green space adjacent to university buildings and park space. A new 17,835 square feet one story steel and glass structure will be developed. The building wraps an interior 3,000 square foot child play area. A vehicular drop-off area and ten parking spaces are also provided. This site location is located on the main campus and will serve the surrounding community. The building will be something the university and entire neighborhood will be proud of, especially the families using the facility. The project is being designed to meet LEED Silver Certification.
