Rarely is there the opportunity to develop projects where the opening to the public consists of as many particularities as a notary's office, an institution that works hand in hand with government agencies but connected with independent institutions, with private companies and with citizens, all this relationship is hand in hand.

In a town internationally recognized for the relevance of the historical remains in its center, we find our site, approximately 500m from the main square that is home to one of the most important convents of the colonial period in the history of Mexico.
The particularities become a challenge for the development of a project due to the integration with the environment and the relations between the visitors.
This is how we start conceptually with a volume proportional to those seen in colonial buildings, but by applying technologies we increase levels, while making areas more efficient without wasting space.

The ground floor is open to the public, allowing a space for rest and contemplation to be donated in a colonial city devoid of vegetation in its oldest areas. On the pedestrian route, it opens up like a vegetal oasis in the grid.
The volume is born a few meters behind the edge of the property, it allows the access of light and prevents the weight of the building from falling on the street and to emphasize this; the following levels are terraced to reduce saturation in the urban image.

The hierarchy of the main entrance allows visitors to find their way around quickly, eliminating elements of ostentation and luxury, opening its doors to any socioeconomic sector.

30cm walls with glass facades and optimization of orientation will allow us to comfortably house people without added ventilation or heating systems.
Gardens and outdoor spaces, expand the diversity of uses, distract those who visit it every day and versitalises the life of the project.

Due to its shape, finishes and distribution, the building adapts to the location and users; Despite such broad premises without imposing class, it allows us to know the seriousness of the procedures that are carried out there.
