Confined subdivisions have become a necessity in many Latin American countries, the search for security within the city has led developers and clients to seek housing within protected communities.
It is in one of these places where the opportunity for the project of a residential house for a family of three people is presented.

We take advantage of the opportunity that controlled subdivision offers us, in a way in which the house is capable of opening up without losing the privacy conditions customary to the local culture.

The project creates a permeable volume that connects with the adjoining area where a wooded green area is located, thus the garden becomes an extension of the house, giving the illusion of connection by linking to an interior garden within our property. Respecting the subdivision regulations, the volume integrates a series of houses but challenges the traditional style of the house as a commercial product; instead we make the project unique and directed to a particular client.

The project has public areas on the ground floor, which adapt to contemporary lifestyles. In the center of the house, the vertical communication connected to a green area modifies the atmosphere to allow us to enter the upper floor where it becomes a private area in its entirety. The rooms with dressing room and private bathroom make the economic market competitive with neighboring houses.

Today the architectural practice in residential housing has lost exploration and has fallen into a commercial vice where what is most reproduced on social networks is what is most accepted and today has become neutral.
