Nude Nest is a completed private apartment interior located in Kraków, Poland. Designed in response to the client’s request for a minimalist yet warm living environment, the 55-square-meter apartment explores how restraint, softness, and precise detailing can enhance everyday domestic life.

The interior is conceived as a continuous spatial composition rather than a sequence of enclosed rooms. Curved partitions and custom-built furniture volumes define functional zones for living, cooking, and dining, allowing the space to flow naturally while maintaining clarity and order. A centrally positioned kitchen island serves both as a functional core and a social focal point, reinforcing the openness of the layout.

Materiality plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere. Light-toned wood, mineral surfaces, and soft textiles form a muted, tactile palette that reflects natural light and introduces a sense of calm. Built-in cabinetry follows the geometry of the interior, concealing storage and technical elements to preserve visual simplicity and spatial coherence.

Lighting is treated as an integral architectural element rather than a decorative feature. Concealed light sources emphasize horizontality, curvature, and depth, supporting daily use while remaining visually understated.

Through careful proportion, warm materials, and fluid geometry, Nude Nest demonstrates how minimalism can remain intimate and inviting, resulting in a balanced and timeless residential interior.
