Intervening within the historic fabric of Padua requires a sophisticated mediation between the layers of memory and the desire for contemporary domesticity. This renovation project, developed over a surface area of 75 sqm, undertakes a distributive overhaul to maximize spatial usability, responding to the desires of an eclectic clientele—whose taste ranges from Pop vibrancy to refined retro suggestions. In the center of Treviso, the interior design of the Sectilis penthouse is configured as an exercise in spatial rewriting that works on the balance between the geometric rigor of fixed elements and the superficial treatment of finishes. The intervention, developed over an internal surface of 122 sqm, addresses two distinct compositional themes: the management of long wall curtains in the living area and the geometric resolution of a sleeping area with an irregular floor plan. The interior design of this penthouse is defined through an investigation into the continuity of living, where matter is not intended as a simple covering, but as an architectural device capable of enhancing and ordering the space. The intervention explores the theme of the open plan, replacing traditional wall partitions with a system of functional backdrops. The goal is to create an environment where the boundary between different domestic functions is perceived as a fluid transition, orchestrated by the tectonics of fixed elements. Nude Nest is a completed private apartment interior located in Kraków, Poland. Designed in response to the client’s request for a minimalist yet warm living environment, the 55-square-meter apartment explores how restraint, softness, and precise detailing can enhance everyday domestic life. The interior is conceived as a continuous spatial composition rather than a sequence of enclosed rooms. Curved partitions and custom-built furniture volumes define functional zones for living, cooking, and dining, allowing the space to flow naturally while maintaining clarity and order. Casa Borgoña is the home of an art and wine lover, a spirit kindred to Alfonso X “The Wise”, on whose avenue the residence is located. Just as the king once brought culture and knowledge to the city of Murcia, this house embraces that heritage and transforms it into architecture: a space where design, history, and everyday pleasure intertwine. The dwelling is organized around a key architectural gesture: a curved wooden corridor that acts as its backbone. This mid-century terraced house in the west of Edinburgh had been home to our clients, a family of four, for several years. The house had previously been extended to the front, resulting in a long narrow kitchen, separated from the living room. The disjointed layout meant that the family were often in separate spaces, unable to speak to each other.  The owners were keen to create a more open-plan and sociable layout, with the kitchen at its heart. Additions and alterations to a 1920s timber semi, including a new first floor, rear ground floor, decking and carparking.The original house facade facing the street was retained, and a new entrance created in the side elevation.Internally, the Living spaces are bright, minimal and airy, opening to the rear courtyard and raised decking area. The transition from lighter existing timber weatherboard to darker lightweight metal cladding assists in maintaining the original building character whilst reducing the building bulk using colour, and details.
