A poetic retreat built in a living teak forest, Omah Jati redefines site-responsive timber architecture.
Designed by Andra Matin and conceived by Daniel Suharya to honour his family’s land, the villa was prefabricated off-site and assembled without cutting a single tree.
The structure adapts to the forest, not the other way around, showcasing how glulam timber can elevate both ecological integrity and emotional experience.
