In Camamu Bay, Brazil, the Origami Eco Residence, example of sustainable architecture in the region. Designed by italian architect Renato Peron, the "Casa dos Cajueiros", that belongs to Origami Eco Residence, used bio-compatible materials, low energy production, renewable sources to minimize its ecological footprint in the climate of brazil. Taking the japanese practice of origami into consideration, the palm fiber roof assumes the shape of zoomorphic forms, folding and sloping its solar panels in relation to the sun’s path throughout the day. The residence is very well located in the center of Barra Grande, near the Camamu Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, whith a constant ventilation in place. Structure in Eucalyptus, reforested wood, windows and separation of some walls in Talisca fiber, thatched roof (Piaçava), with irrigation system, septic tank, water filter. All this makes the Residence Origami ecologically correct tripping.
