Pa de sucre wanted to be an "honest and sincere" bakery and therefore a clean space was designed, without decorative elements and just playing with the volumes of the counter and the display furniture. The entire store was made white to give a sense of purity and only the counter was made black, to highlight the daily bread. In keeping with the store's philosophy, only one cladding was applied. One of the walls was coated with gray bonding paste and a grated texture was drawn with a notched trowel.
The oak flooring continues with the philosophy of introducing natural elements and the beams remind us of the old village houses and the tradition of making bread by hand. The workshop was seen from the store through a large black window as well as the furniture and flooring to ensure that the workshop would always be clean and the constant use of flour.
