Penrose Dock

Margres as Manufacturers

Penrose Dock is a world class office development located on the north quays of Cork City in Ireland. The campus consists of two office blocks of 7 and 10 storeys heights over basement car-parking.
Margres tiles have been used as one of the main feature finishes in the public spaces of both office blocks. Both reception areas are geometric and contemporary in design and are complimented bya backdrop of full height Margres Linea Prestige “Calacatta” 3m x 1m tiles.

These tiles mimic Carrara marble to great effect creating a rich and elegant aesthetic that enhances the vertical andgeometric lines of the design. The wall tiles stretch from ground floor to the top of the building, dressing the lift lobbies and surrounds and creating a connection between all floors.

The tiles alsoclad the planter boxes which are an important feature of the main reception area. 1146 square meters of Margres Linea Prestige “Calacatta” tile was used in the public areas of Penrose Dock.
