Located in a bustling neighbourhood near central Osaka, this building consists of a residence, an art gallery and retail shops. Clad with extruded cement panels, the building looks like a gallery but does not stand out from the surrounding environment. Because a large amount of light is not needed in a gallery, we utilized as lighting windows the apertures resulted from the slight shifting of cladding panels.
