Tapping TPG Architecture to launch a new retail concept, Piaget wanted the design to mirror the future-forward nature of its urban setting. Located in the new Hudson Yards development, the glowing facade draws guests in with enticing arched windows that are bathed in a luminescent white and outlined in gold.
Once inside, visitors are welcome to explore the intricate detail of the space, including the gold wall coverings that represent Piaget’s proprietary palace decor. True to the generous values of the Maison, the design invites guests to experience the collections and share joyous moments in the heart of the space. The boutique is composed of distinct zones, each with a unique personality and purpose, including the “Discovery Area,” an open lounge, a “Precious Alcove,” a “Private Alcove,” and the VIP lounge for the brand’s most discerning of clientele.
The Hudson Yard’s location offers a selection of new gold and diamond pieces from the ‘Sunlight’ fine jewelry collection, inspired by the glimmer and energy of the sun, as global exclusives. The boutique also offers the full range of Piaget jewelry collections, including Possession, as well as the range of Piaget timepieces, including the iconic Altiplano.
