For this project, the client requested an adaptation of the clinic's program so that it could fit into a smaller space compared to its previous location, while maintaining compliance with health standards. To achieve this, the project combined two commercial rooms in a corporate building to fit all the clinic's needs. For the waiting room, we wanted to emphasize natural light using light materials to create a bright, clean space.
The Panels made of American oak wood run throughout the clinic, hiding doors, including restricted access rooms from patients' view, besides integrating spaces. Two key points off the project: separate entrances for patients and doctors, with direct access to their respective areas; and use of windows in spaces that require natural light and ventilation, while others do not require natural openings for technical reasons.
The interior design of the exam room brings a feeling of lightness through its colors and lighting. It incorporates a large area of natural light with non-glare light sources strategically placed throughout the room. The exam room is connected to the consultation and procedure room by sliding wooden panels that can separate/integrate the two rooms, depending on the doctor's activities or the patient's privacy. The procedure room can be accessed separately by the doctor through another door, hidden in the mirror.
In addition to the architectural design, we also take care of project management and construction supervision, as well as final production, including selection of furniture, artwork and general decoration.
