Plus 2 is the renovation of an older residence in New Taipei City for a returning client. From our previous collaboration, we already knew the owner preferred color to appear selectively rather than throughout the entire interior.
The shared spaces are kept in off-white, grey and light timber, allowing the living room, workspace and kitchen to read as one continuous setting. Geometric tiles in the kitchen introduce the first shift in color and pattern, which becomes more pronounced in the more private areas of the home.In the bathroom, blue, grey and beige tiles define the shower area, while the bedroom includes a pale yellow dressing room softened by rounded corners, curtains and glass.
The interior remains calm, with color and pattern appearing only where needed—small gestures that bring character and reflect the owner’s personal way of living.
