In a typical apartment building of the 80's, very close to the center of Chania, we renovated and designed the spaces of an existing 70sqm apartment.
The main objective was to achieve a harmonious blend of functionality and privacy, resulting in the creation of a contemporary living space.
One of the design’s key aspects was the integration of communal areas. To accomplish this, a consistent ceramic tile was chosen to cover the entire floor, seamlessly connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces. Vertical walnut wood paneling was utilized to complement the tile, adding a touch of warmth and elegance to the overall aesthetic.
To enhance the lighting scheme, a central rail system was implemented, accompanied by distinctive light fixtures.
By combining these carefully chosen elements against a pristine white backdrop, a well-balanced and calming ambiance was successfully achieved.
