The owner, an architect who lives in Brasília, chose this apartment to spend weekends in São Paulo. The project was created to ensure the feeling of being at home.

He wanted a space that would function as a weekend home, but without having that obvious “weekend home” look. For this reason, the apartment was given an industrial identity, balanced with a lot of Brazilian furniture that also reflects the taste of the resident and architect.

Renovation and interior redesign. The renovation included integrating the living room with the kitchen. The service bedroom was transformed into a beautiful office, and the service bathroom became the powder room. The entire interior of the social areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms was redesigned.

The apartment was inspired by a design-oriented aesthetic. We maintained a white base, exposed the beams, stripped some pillars, and integrated the living room with the kitchen to expand the space. This opening brought more openness to the environment, allowing it to comfortably host friends, parents, and family. The living room gained amplitude, and the integration made everything more fluid and functional.
