This project is a renovation of a dilapidated structure in a residence’s backyard. The existing situation demanded an urgent structural intervention given the crackings on the walls. This new structural reinforcement was the most important action in the project. In addition to that, the roof was rotated 90° in order to reduce itsslope and lenght and to provide a better proportion of the whole building. In the internal space, a new bathroom was created and the room’s space remained the same with its existing old colored tiles on the floor.

Material Used :

1. Brick walls from the existing building plastered and painted in white

2. Ceramic roof tiles with hardwood ceiling

3. Floor remained the same
