The cookery school is one of five buildings that makeup the headquarters for the business that has built uparound the British TV programme River Cottage. Theaim of the cookery school was to create a learningfacility that also enabled productivity and promotedsustainable farming and cooking.The cookery school was the first new addition to therural site. The building is formed of a single – storeygabled structure featuring corrugated cladding, aninformal colonnade and a wall of glazing facing out overthe surrounding countryside.
