Designed by architect Mariana Bamont, this project was created for a client with a classic style who sought practicality for everyday living without compromising on elegance. Located in the Mooca neighborhood of São Paulo, this 82 m² apartment received an interior design project centered on timelessness, featuring welcoming, functional spaces designed to adapt to different stages of life.

The concept emphasizes a sophisticated neutral foundation, while color is introduced selectively through paintings, artwork, and decorative objects. This approach creates a balanced atmosphere in which decorative elements play an important role in shaping the identity of each space.

In addition to meeting the homeowner’s needs, the project prioritized optimizing the floor plan and reusing materials and finishes originally delivered by the developer. This strategy preserved existing elements while maintaining both aesthetic and functional quality.
The layout was carefully planned to enhance circulation and comfort. The social areas were organized in an integrated and fluid manner, while the private spaces received solutions tailored to the family’s routine, maximizing the potential of each room.

The apartment’s existing natural lighting and ventilation were highlighted throughout the design. To complement these features, a lighting design scheme with multiple lighting scenarios was developed, enhancing the sense of warmth and ensuring visual comfort for different activities and times of day.

For the finishes, durable, neutral, and easy-to-maintain materials were selected, reinforcing the apartment’s timeless aesthetic. Textural elements add depth and warmth to the interiors.

One of the project’s main highlights is the reconfiguration of the home office and the daughter’s bedroom. The office area was reduced to allow for the creation of a spacious and functional wardrobe in the bedroom. This solution optimized the apartment’s potential and brought greater practicality to the homeowner’s daily routine while maintaining the overall design coherence.
