Rue Cassette Apartment

GAPANTE as Architects

The apartment, of 111 m2, is situated within a Haussmanian building in Paris. Over time, the partitioning of the flat had been modified , so that the moldings and the walls were no longer connected.

The project was aiming to recapture the spatial coherence of the place, restoring certain rooms to their original dimensions as suggested by the layout of the ceiling moldings.

The mirror and the marble were key tools used to design and restructure the spaces: the Estremoz and its landscapes for the bathrooms, the Carrare and the Marquina for the kitchen and the entrance.

Materials used:

  1. Flooring - Marble : Estremoz /Carrare /Marquina
  2. Interior Lighting - Kitchen wall light - Marset / Bathroom wall light - Zangra
