Renovation of semi detached federation house Russell Lea. A new textural living area with a surprising sense of space added to the rear of the existing building.

The semi is on the South side of the site and special attention was given to capture as much sunlight as possible into the new living areas.

A new lightweight bedroom wing was placed on top of the painted brick ground floor base to create a contrast between the old existing front of the house and the new work.
