Artau Architectures as Architects

Outdoor spaces are developed: the ambulatory frames the court on its four sides like a cloister, « a path space » while linking the ancient conventual buildings and the « modern buildings ». On the northern side, the ambulatory leads to the orchard, which is a place for relaxation, rest and leisure. On the western side, a forecourt lies in front of ancient buildings that have been restructured into common spaces (R0 and R+2) and staff rooms (R+1). At the heart of the ancient conventual buildings that have been transformed into schoolrooms, the courtyard is covered and serves as adaptable room (atrium).
