The house is located in the Northwest of Madrid, in one of the most attractive new residential areas thanks to its important expansion due to the proximity to nice natural parks, one university and several big companies headquarters.

In here the client wanted to build as much as possible of the program on the ground floor, creating a comfortable house closely related to the sourronding small garden.

Moving many residential m2 at the height of the land, we can afford to release much of the first floor with large terraces, which will make this level a combination of open and closed spaces, with pergolas for creating shadows, leisure areas, barbacue... all with very good views thanks to being on the first floor, watching from there the surrounding parks.

The house is designed as a resounding piece where the architects removed fragments, and opened holes cutting it. Sanchez House has been designed by the technique of full-vacuum substraction, like if it was a big butter block, using all the allowed m2 by the regulations to optimize it.

The house is equipped with a wonderful ventilated facade made of elegant white ceramic pieces, which greatly helps with climate control inside the home, without requiring any energy input.

The black windows, carefully opened and composed on each facade, contrast with the white ceramics, giving the home an attractive and contemporary appearance.
