GOALS
The central core of this 100 square meter family apartment needed a complete makeover. The lack of connection and fluidity between the rooms was quite obvious, and the presence of a load-bearing wall in the center of this core presented a strong constraint in the organization of the spaces.
RE-ORGANIZATION OF THE SPACE
• The parental bedroom and the existing bathroom have been rearranged to find a true concept of a parental suite. In order to provide second-day lighting and visually open the spaces, a custom-made wooden canopy was designed.
• In order to optimize the space lost in the corridor while maintaining fluid circulation and integrating storage, it was proposed to create a curved joinery unit
• The old existing bathroom has been transformed into a small guest room, enlarged to obtain sufficient space
