This series of photos art prints called Special Places, were taken with a small digital camera. I first built physical models of some of my architectural and sculptural designs. I photograph these models separately, and then I isolate the images in the computer. I place the images of the models, people, etc. into various environments, which I have also photographed. I want to create images that have not been seen before so this is why I first design the completely original models for placement into the carefully chosen environments. These collages hopefully invite the viewer to wonder what they are and where they were photographed.
