Staplehouse

Staplehouse is a restaurant that evolved from a popular underground supper club founded by Ryan and Jen Hidinger to a game-changer in the Atlanta dining scene. The charming turn of the century brick building in an historic part of Atlanta was once a general store and Ryan’s first choice for location. A thoughtful and thorough renovation has transformed the building from it’s most recent incarnation as a residential loft into a full service restaurant with an open kitchen. A secluded backyard with old ivy-covered walls contains a new dining patio and a prep kitchen ‘wood shed’ situated under a stately oak tree. Repurposed garage doors open up the main dining room to the outdoors. Upstairs is a private dining room with views into the main restaurant below. The second floor also houses the offices of The Giving Kitchen, the non-profit that Ryan and Jen founded to provide emergency assistance grants to Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.
