Pier Property Group’s The Terraces at Wildhorse Village expands the vision of Wildhorse Village, an 80-acre mixed-use community in Chesterfield, Missouri centered around a 15-acre lake and a walkable live-work-play environment. Designed by Arcturis in collaboration with Pier Property Group, the project introduces a luxury rental townhome product that blends the spatial qualities of single-family living with the convenience and connectivity of multifamily development.
The development consists of 70 three-story brownstone-style townhomes organized across multiple buildings adjacent to The Flats at Wildhorse Village, the first multifamily phase within the larger master plan. Each residence includes three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, oversized balconies, and private tuck-under two-car garages. The architectural approach focused on creating a refined residential character while maintaining strong urban edges and pedestrian connectivity throughout the district.
A key design goal was to elevate the rental experience beyond conventional multifamily housing. The buildings incorporate layered façades, articulated massing, generous glazing, and durable high-quality materials that reinforce the upscale identity of the community. Residents also have access to an extensive amenity package shared with the adjacent Flats development, including a resort-style pool, fitness center, coworking and business spaces, dog park and spa, bike storage, and outdoor gathering areas.
The Terraces reflect a broader shift in suburban development patterns, where residents increasingly seek walkable mixed-use environments without sacrificing space, privacy, or architectural quality. Through close collaboration between Arcturis and Pier Property Group, the project delivers a housing type that bridges luxury multifamily living and traditional townhome ownership while contributing to the long-term vision of Wildhorse Village as one of the region’s premier mixed-use destinations.
