A contemporary home created behind a retained 18th century stone façade. 

The east-west orientation and long, narrow, irregularly-shaped site suggested a snaking plan form which terminates in a garden room and incorporates two courtyards and an open front-to-back kitchen & living space, overlooked by a glazed gallery serving the 1st floor bedrooms. Salvaged brick & stone from the original structure is re-used to connect the new building to the history of its site.
